About Us

Home Care Service providing Companion Care in Leicester and surrounding areas.

Senior Help Leicester is owned and managed by Chris and Susan Stuart.

They have always lived in the local area and enjoy being part of the community.

Chris and Sue met at a dance and still enjoy going to Ceroc ( modern jive), sometimes their feet don't enjoy it as much! Chris and Sue have both become Dementia Friends joing with Alzheimer's Society to take action for people affected by dementia.

Chris has had a variety of careers over the years and he is a great 'communicator!' Susan is a people-person and has spent her career teaching and supporting children and adults in education and training. We have both had experience of supporting our older relatives to live a more independent and fulfilling life. Our aim is to change the conversation from:        ' have you taken your tablets?' to ' what have you enjoyed this afternoon? And this is what your grand children have been up to today.'

Our Vision

Senior Help wants home companionship to be affordable and of the highest standard so that more people can enjoy a stimulating and worthwhile later life.

We want to enable everybody regardless of age to stay healthy and cared for.  We aim to support older people through the years, providing the very best non-medical companionship.

Respite Care

Caring for both Carers and Clients.

Sometimes with the best will in the world, you may need a break from an intense period of caring for a family member. We can ease this burden. You can rest easy knowing that your loved one is being cared for while you take a break.

Time off for a relative who may be juggling care with their own work or family.

After having been in hospital, we can spend more time with your relative. The less lonely they are, the quicker the healing process.

If you're going on holiday, we can take over the care until you're back.

Respite Care Services Include

  • Provide a break for the main carer
  • Peace of mind when the main carer not available
  • Allow carer to recuperate

Fresh Meals

Taking care of physical needs helps improve mental function.

Older people find it harder to get the nutrition they need from the food they eat. Often when food is prepared for them, they’re more likely to eat – especially if they have company whilst eating.

We can prepare simple meals for them to eat whenever they choose.

Each carer will get to know what their client likes and can ensure the cupboards are filled.

Sometimes older people need reminding or encouraging to eat something.

Services Include

  • Meals prepared according to diet plan, cultural or religious needs

Outings

There's a world out there. Let's help older people enjoy it.

If it's possible, our carer will encourage clients to get out and about. This could open their world.

Walks in the sunshine.
